Preview a Show

It can be helpful for sponsors and/or teachers to preview one of our programs in order to understand what is unique about Theatre Espresso's philosophy of "theatre-in-education." All of our plays are interactive, compelling, professionally acted, and original. As a 5th grade teacher said in his evaluation of a Theatre Espresso performance: "There should be a play for every subject that students have to learn!" Not surprisingly, teachers and sponsors recognize that regardless of the setting -- John Adams Courthouse, elementary school gymnasium, middle school auditorium -- our work draws students irresistibly into the competing issues of history.

While our schedule is continually changing through the school year, we try to make available a list of upcoming performances to which potential sponsors may come in order to preview a particular drama. To avoid logistical complications and to honor our contractual relationship with sponsors who have booked a Theatre Espresso performance, we are unable to open all of our programs to visitors seeking to preview our work.
