Theatre Espresso's season runs from October through June. While we perform primarily in schools and in courthouses as part of our residency program, we also present programs in libraries, museums, and even occasionally in traditional proscenium theatres! Nearly 5.000 students viewed our dramas during the 2011-12 school year, whether at the John Adams Courthouse, the Lawrence Heritage State Park Visitors Center (see below) or on site at schools in the greater Boston area and other New England states. Our newest drama--American Tapestry: Immigrant Children of the Bread & Roses Strike--completed its 2nd year in residence at the Lawrence Heritage State Park Visitors Center in March 2012 with 18 performances in the fall for all Lawrence 5th graders and then 18 performances for 8th graders during the centennial celebration of the beginning of the strike, January - March 2012. Like our other dramas, American Tapestry will tour to schools around Massachusetts in the 2012-13 school year. In addition, American Tapestry, Nine Who Dared, and Justice At War will continue to be in residence at the John Adams Courthouse in Boston as part of our grant funded Road to Tolerance program for Boston Public Schools.
